Yazidi, the village of Basovan, is under pressure to raise ears and pray behind armed militias..
Attacks and violations by Turkey’s terrorist militias in the city of Afrin, west of Kurdistan, in northern Syria, included assaults on religious freedom, in addition to abductions, torture and ransom demands for the release of the kidnappers.
The Turkish-backed Free Army militia confiscated a house in the village of Basovan, near the Sim’an Fort, about 4 km in the Jabal Lailon area, and turned it into a mosque for prayer.
Witnesses from the village also confirmed that the Yazidis in the area are forced to raise the call to prayer and prayers behind the gunmen in the mosque, which was the home of one of the residents who were displaced from the village, and forced to comply with their demands or face severe consequences.
