Michael Rubin, a former defense official, said Turkey was practicing terrorism in the occupied city of Afrin, warning Turkey not to approach areas in northeastern Syria.
Rubin stressed that those who committed war crimes in northeastern Syria should be tried and Rubin participated in the international forum on Daqash, organized by the Rouge Aafa Center for Strategic Studies in the city of Amouda, northeast of Syria.
Rubin rejected the argument that Damascus could not be tried in northeastern Syria because there was no international recognition of the administration in that region. The tribunal in northern and eastern Syria should be established without any arguments.
